La Liga giants Real Madrid will be without the services of a whole host of key performers for the club’s next outing.

This comes amid nothing short of a personnel crisis in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

Real Madrid of course marked their return to action on Sunday, making the trip to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga showdown with arch rivals Barcelona.

Los Blancos headed into the matchup without six altogether high-profile players, namely Dani Carvajal, Éder Militão, Ferland Mendy, David Alaba, Antonio Rüdiger, and Eduardo Camavinga.

And en route to an eventual 4-3 Clásico defeat, Real’s woes only continued to deepen.

As confirmed by way of a pair of statements across the social media platforms of the capital outfit, both Vinícius Jr. and Lucas Vázquez also suffered injury setbacks against Barcelona.

Add to this a one-game suspension picked up by Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Carlo Ancelotti will be unable to call on a hefty nine members of his squad to face RCD Mallorca on Wednesday night.
