Alonso's decision could have "major impact" on Leverkusen players' futures | OneFootball

Bayer Leverkusen are already planning ahead for next season; however, the decision of Xabi Alonso could be a highly influential factor.

The Spanish head coach is expected to make his decision on his future by the end of March which could influence Florian Wirtz.

According to Sport BILD, it is expected the German star will remain a Die Werkself player until after the 2026 World Cup.

Elsewhere, Jonathan Tah has confirmed his departure, while Nordi Mukiele, Mario Hermoso and Emiliano Buendia are not expected to sign permanently.
