Angeliño and Evan Ndicka continue to prove themselves key pieces in Roma’s new line-up.

Few fans last January 30 thought they would find in Angeliño one of the most important pieces in this Giallorossi side, writes Il Tempo.

Having arrived amidst collective distrust, the Spanish full-back managed to earn himself a starting spot through his performances, making himself completely available to De Rossi first and, now, Juric.

Angeliño is always in the starting eleven in every match, so much so that he is the second outfield player (excluding Svilar) to have played the most minutes in all competitions: 790 out of 810, surpassed only by N’Dicka, who has never been substituted.

The Ivorian defender in fact has been the most consistent performer at the back so far this season.
