FLW takes a look at the five players who can depart Norwich City for free in the summer.
Norwich City have truly embodied the nature of an unpredictable club this season, as one week they can deliver a thrilling performance, while the next they appear disjointed, as though they've never played together before.
Comfortable victories over the likes of Plymouth Argyle and Swansea City might lead you to believe they are a team vying for promotion, yet crushing defeats to Bristol City and Preston North End paint a picture of a side fighting to stay out of the relegation zone.
Nonetheless, with the finish line appearing in sight, they are firmly embroiled in a play-off race as they try to catch the teams ahead of them.
Whether they will have what they need to break into the top six remains unclear, but the Canaries will be without a number of players next year as their contracts expire heading into this summer.
With this in mind, Football League World have detailed the four players who will leave the club if nothing changes.
Alongside Kenny McLean, Onel Hernandez is one of the longest-serving players in the Norwich City squad, but his contract is set to expire at Carrow Road this summer.
The Cuban has made over 200 appearances for City and, despite not being a regular starter in the past few seasons, remains a very capable lower-end second-tier player.
Aged 32, it seems unlikely that Norwich will renew his contract but they do have a one-year option for an extension.
Scottish international Angus Gunn has been Norwich City's first-choice goalkeeper since their relegation from the Premier League in the 2021-22 season.
This year, he's found himself behind a faltering defense and with Gunn's contract is set to expire in June, it remains to be seen whether the Canaries will have a new number one next term.
The Scotland international has been linked with a move away from the club previously but Johannes Hoff Thorup has made it clear the East Anglian club want to keep him and will offer him a new contract.
Another player who has spent a considerable amount of time at Norwich, Jacob Sørensen, joined the club from Esbjerg fB in 2020. However, he has struggled to secure a regular starting spot, largely due to ongoing injury issues.
Despite signing a one-year extension last summer, it seems his time at Norwich could be drawing to a close this summer.
A return to Denmark could be on the cards for the midfielder, and it would be a surprise to see him sign a new deal in Norfolk.
Arguably the most likely player to sign a new deal on this list, Emiliano Marcondes joined Norwich City as a free agent in October, following his departure from AFC Bournemouth in the summer.
The midfielder has made a strong impression, consistently posing a threat in the final third under Hoff Thorup.
Norwich have the option to extend his contract by a year and it seems unlikely he will depart.
Marcondes wants to stay at Carrow Road, which may mean new deal is agreed.
