Inter Milan have been missing a few players due to injury during the last few weeks.

Both Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez and midfielder Davide Frattesi have been on the sidelines since the Champions League semifinal second leg against Barcelona.

Martinez started that match despite a muscle problem. This forced him off in the second half, as he had aggravated the injury.

Meanwhile, Frattesi came off the bench in that memorable European outing. The Italian international scored Inter’s extra time winner – however, he suffered an abdominal problem.

Both Martinez and Frattesi have missed out on a couple matches for Inter since the Barcelona clash.

The pair were unavailable for Inter’s last two Serie A matches, against Torino and Lazio.

However, reports the Gazzetta, both have been back in training in recent days.

And the aim will certainly be to have both Martinez and Frattesi in the squad tomorrow.

Tomorrow evening, Inter travel to Como for their final Serie A match of the campaign. They’ll be hoping that they can get a win and, at the same time, Napoli drop points against Cagliari.

In the case of Nerazzurri captain Martinez, the Gazzetta report that the Argentine will not start tomorrow’s match.

However, the priority will be for Martinez to get some minutes in his legs ahead of the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the month.

In this respect, today’s training session will be key. The Inter coaching staff will evaluate how much time Martinez is ready for.
