Paris Saint-Germain are continuing to adjust their recruitment strategy, turning more toward rising talent within Ligue 1 as they look to build a younger, more energetic squad. The signings of Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue from league rivals highlight that shift in direction.
For years, PSG was criticized for neglecting top homegrown prospects, but that perception is beginning to change under sporting advisor Luis Campos. Now, the club is keeping a close eye on another standout from within the league.
Andrey Santos, currently on loan at RC Strasbourg from Chelsea, has been one of Ligue 1’s breakout players this season. He’s played a key role in Strasbourg’s surprising push for a Champions League place and is now attracting interest from clubs across Europe.
According to Fichajes, both PSG and AC Milan are monitoring Santos ahead of the summer window. Calciomercato adds that Roma, Juventus, Napoli, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Monaco are also watching the Brazilian midfielder closely. While Chelsea aren’t actively shopping him, they’re reportedly open to offers in the region of £35 million.

CaughtOffside reported Thursday, citing sources, that Arsenal are interested in Santos following the Brazilian midfielder’s impressive loan spell at Strasbourg this season.
The 20-year-old hasn’t had many chances at Chelsea, but he’s long been seen as a top prospect. The report also notes, citing sources, that Santos isn’t fully committed to returning to Chelsea next season.
That could open the door for a summer move, with a potential fee between €45 million and €50 million. Arsenal are exploring the situation, while Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle, PSG, and AC Milan are also keeping a close eye on Santos, according to CaughtOffside.
