A season of grand expectations for Arsenal has so far been dampened by injuries, but the Gunners enter a new calendar year well in the mix.
Martin Odegaard's ankle issue facilitated a stodgy autumn and Bukayo Saka's hamstring tear has many supporters bearish over the club's chances during the second half of the season. Having struggled to adapt to the absence of his captain earlier this year, Mikel Arteta's coaching will be crucial amid star man Saka's recovery.
Life without their talismanic wide man started with a 1-0 win over Ipswich Town on Friday night, with a trip to Brentford on New Year's Day up next for the title hopefuls.
Here's the latest Arsenal injury news ahead of their maiden bout of 2025.

Arsenal have had full-back issues all season, with Jurrien Timber, Riccardo Calafiori and Oleksandr Zinchenko all missing time due to injuries.
Thomas Partey has been utilised at right-back at times as a result, with Timber returning as the undisputed starter. However, the Dutchman's workload will be eased once Ben White recovers from the minor ankle surgery he underwent during the November international break.
White has been out for around six weeks and there is still no timeframe for his return. Updates on his recovery have been few and far between.
Takehiro Tomiyasu is capable of providing cover across Arsenal's backline, but the Japanese international has made just one appearance all season because of a recurring knee injury. He's suffered multiple setbacks in his recovery, and it's not yet known when he'll be fit and available again.

The mood has been soured in north London as a result of Saka's hamstring tear sustained during the 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace before Christmas.
The winger has since undergone surgery with Arteta suggesting he'll be without for more than two months. It's a devastating blow - one exacerbated by Raheem Sterling's knee injury.
Sterling has barely featured since joining the club on loan, but he undoubtedly would've been a handy option with Saka out. The experienced wide man could return at some point in January, but Arteta is currently relying on the likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus to mitigate Saka's absence.
