Following Arsenal’s FA Youth Cup win over Fulham in the last round, the young Gunners knew they were set to welcome either Chelsea or Manchester United to their ground for the quarter-finals.
Chelsea and United finally played their fifth-round match on Wednesday, and it was an easy 5-1 win for the Manchester hosts. Notably, former Arsenal academy striker Chido Martin Obi scored a hat-trick.
As a result, Martin Obi will now return to his former club for the next round, with the tie due to be played before Saturday, March 8th, 2025.

Arsenal Fixture News report that the quarter-final match will be played at the Emirates Stadium, though that’s currently unconfirmed.
The Arsenal u18s played their only previous home match in this year’s tournament at Meadow Park in Borehamwood, but it’s not unusual for the team to move to the Emirates for the later rounds of competition.
17-year-old Martin Obi will be a major threat in the fixture, hoping to add to his 12 goals in 12 games this season.
The striker is still yet to score in u19 or u21 football after eight appearances for United and Arsenal, but the u18 game is where he thrives. Wednesday was just the latest example of that.

Arsenal will have to hope their own star scorer is on form on the day, with Andre Harriman-Annous on 14 goals for the season.
Harriman-Annous has scored in each of the Gunners’ three FA Youth Cup fixtures so far, and he’ll want to add another goal or two in the quarter-finals.
