Atalanta consider offers for Cherki and Calvert-Lewin | OneFootball

Tuttosport newspaper reports that Ryan Cherki is a January target for Atalanta, while Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin is being considered as a potential free summer transfer.

Atalanta are expected to get some January reinforcements after sending Ben Godrey on loan to Ipswich Town.

Tuttosport confirms that Lyon’s Cherki, a U21 France international with an Italian passport, is a concrete target for La Dea.

Lyon are in a tough financial situation and need to sell some of their players to balance the books and avoid relegation to the second division at the end of the current campaign.

Sportitalia already reported in December that Atalanta had been following the talented French midfielder.

At the same time, Atalanta are also monitoring Everton striker Calvert-Lewin and could make a contract offer to the English striker given that his contract runs out in June 2025.

La Dea are considering signing the English striker as a free agent at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old has two goals in 19 appearances across all competitions this term and has also been linked with a free transfer to Fiorentina.
