Tommaso Baldanzi spoke to Sky Sport and DAZN after Monza 1-1 Roma.

The midfielder spoke about the episode that saw him involved at the end of the match, with the referee who did not sanction a harsh intervention on him with a penalty.

“I think we all saw it, it was a very clear episode with a penalty for us,” said the ex-Empoli player.

“The defender first stomps on my foot and then jumps, it was a clear penalty. The referee said that first he jumped and then he stomped my foot, but I watched the video again and it was the opposite, but that’s not my job.”

“Obviously we should have won even without that episode. We played well but we need to be more precise to bring home the 3 points.”
