Jonathan Tah has emerged as one of the most sought-after players in the market, as the German international gears up for a new adventure elsewhere next summer.
Tah’s contract at Bayer Leverkusen expires at the end of the season and the player is likely to join a new club as a free agent.
Barcelona, for one, have emerged as the likeliest destination for Tah, but there has been no concrete update in recent weeks.
In fact, recent reports in Germany have indicated that there is a possibility Tah could remain at Bayer Leverkusen next season.
However, a recent report from Christian Falk (h/t AS) has refuted these claims, confirming that there is indeed no chance of Tah staying at Leverkusen for another season.

This could serve as a massive boost for Barcelona, who are eyeing the German international as their first major signing for the 2025/26 campaign.
Tah’s arrival could go a long way in reinforcing Barcelona’s defensive unit, which is already quite stacked at the moment.
The German brings immense experience at the highest level of football while his strong and imposing figure at the back could make him an ideal complement to someone like Pau Cubarsi.
That said, Barcelona have their task cut out as they look to not only convince Tah to join the club as a free agent next summer but also fend off interest from other clubs across Europe.
Bayern Munich, for their part, are lurking in the background and will be open to any market opportunity to snap up the central defender.
