Those in a position of power at La Liga giants Barcelona have made the call to seek out a new home for an out-of-favour member of the club’s attacking ranks this summer.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Ansu Fati as the player in question.

Wide-man Ansu has for his part of course endured another difficult campaign in Catalunya’s capital to date.

Struggling for game-time amid fierce competition for places up top in Barcelona’s squad, the 22-year-old has been afforded a total of just three starts across all competitions.

Speculation surrounding a potential summer departure for Ansu, in turn, has long been in circulation in the Spanish media.

And as alluded to above, if the latest word to have surfaced this weekend is anything to go by, then a final call on the winger’s future already appears to have been made.

As per a report from Sport:

‘Barça have already decided that Ansu is not going to be part of the new project. The priority idea is to save his contract now, so the priority is to achieve a sale, even if it is at a low cost.’
