FC Barcelona once again showed the superiority of their youth cadres as their Juvenil A team recently emerged victorious in its UEFA Youth League game against Dinamo Zagreb U-19 team.

The match was pretty even and actually ended with a 2-2 scoreline. However, the Blaugranes were able to get over the Croats in the penalty shootout, which ended up 5-3 in their favor.

While he was not himself playing, this match was still special for the Blaugrana midfielder Dani Olmo, as he has been a part of both of these two teams in his career.

Therefore, it was not surprising to see him in the stands at the Johan Cruyff Stadium as these two sides played. However, as Mundo Deportivo has reported, the Spaniard went on to show his regard for his former club by visiting the Dinamo team’s dressing room after the end of the match.

The Barcelona midfielder took the time to talk to every player, and shared words of consolation with them in their native language, Croatian, which he speaks rather comfortably after his time in the Balkan country.

The visit ended with a round of applause for Olmo, and Dinamo Zagreb itself published images of this visit on their official social media. The caption of the images shared by the Croatian club went as:

“Support for the boys after the match was provided by our former player, Dani Olmo. Dear Dani, thank you for your kind words and for the constant support you always show for your Dinamo.”

There is no doubt that this was a heart-warming action from the Barcelona midfielder, who made it quite clear that he has not forgotten the previous phases of his career despite now being a true star of European football, particularly after his role in helping his Spanish national team win the UEFA EURO 2024 trophy.
