Despite not being a regular starter, Ferran Torres has been proving his importance for FC Barcelona with key goals throughout this season.
Even though he was guilty of spurning a couple of gilt-edged chances against Atletico Madrid this season, the forward, who is celebrating his 25th birthday today, has already matched his best goal-scoring tally at Barça with 11 strikes to his name.
Given his performances, Fichajes reports that a number of top teams from Europe are interested in signing Ferran Torres in the summer.
Indeed, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, AC Milan, and Napoli have all set their sights on a summer move for the Spanish international.
Arsenal manager Arteta, who worked with Ferran during his time at Manchester City, sees him as an ideal attacking reinforcement.
The Gunners had already considered signing him in the past, and with their need to add more attacking options, they are considering renewing their pursuit this summer.

Tottenham are also closely monitoring the Spaniard’s situation, as they are looking to strengthen their wing options with an experienced international player.
Napoli view Ferran as a potential replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who left the club for PSG in January. Meanwhile, AC Milan are interested in bringing him to San Siro, though they have yet to make a decisive move in negotiations.
Aware of the high demand and growing interest in Ferran, Barcelona have set an asking price of €40 million, which will serve as the starting point for any potential talks.
The 25-year-old has been the subject of transfer speculation in previous windows, but both him and Barça have consistently resisted offers.
However, with the club’s economic situation and the lack of regular playing time under Hansi Flick, the possibility of a summer departure is now very real.
With several top clubs ready to bid, Barcelona could capitalise on this opportunity to secure a significant sale in the summer transfer window.
