“It is not an issue for me. I will stay next season,” he said while affirming his commitment to the club.

The 36-year-old, who is under contract with Barça until 2026, has just wrapped up a brilliant season, scoring 42 goals in 52 matches. It was his best campaign in a Barça shirt, and he is already hungry for more.

“I’ve already won more than 30 titles in my career. But I’m still ready for more,” he said, showing no signs of slowing down.

In recent weeks, reports suggested that Barcelona might be forced to offload high earners like Lewandowski due to financial pressure. But the striker brushed aside any such concerns.

“Right now, all I have on my mind is Barcelona,” he insisted. His message to fans was loud and clear: “Our team will be stronger next season.”

Lewandowski, who joined from Bayern Munich in 2022 for €45 million, remains in top shape.

The veteran striker revealed that his physical condition is still elite, even claiming, “My biological age is 30. That’s how I feel, and I track it constantly.”

His commitment to fitness is one of the main reasons he continues to perform at the highest level.

When asked about retirement, Lewandowski said he is far from that stage. “In the end, it’s about what my heart and my head tell me.”

Until then, he plans to keep leading the line for Barça and help the team push for silverware. With the backing of Hansi Flick and a renewed sense of purpose, Lewandowski seems more focused than ever.
