Bayern Munich let the goals fly on Wednesday following a 5-0 win over Hoffenheim.

It was business as usual for Vincent Kompany's men in front of the Allianz Arena crowd, as Hoffenheim had minimal influence.

The visitors registered zero shots by the break whereas Bayern had three goals to show for their dominance.

Leroy Sané rifled home the opener from the right side of the box less than 10 minutes in before Raphaël Guerreiro scored from almost the exact same spot.

Another Harry Kane penalty then turned things 3-0 on a night where the England striker was in form, assisting the previous goal.

Coming out after the break, the goals continued to pile in and some substitutes had their say.

Sané secured a brace when he peeled off his defender at the back post and volleyed home into the far corner. The moment was set up by Mathys Tel, who came off the bench in an attempt to show Bayern he's worth keeping around.

Then Serge Gnabry eventually scored the fifth for the hosts from point-blank range after brilliant link-up play from the midfield.

Hoffenheim's comeback was never in question with only two efforts on target. They sit 15th in the table, while Bayern hold a four-point lead at the top.
