Besiktas in talks with Zeki Celik

Roma fullback Zeki Celik could leave the Italian capital after three seasons.

The 28-year-old footballer, coming off a positive season with 41 appearances, 1 goal and 3 assists, has long expressed his desire to return to Turkey which could become a concrete possibility given Besiktas’ strong interest.

The Istanbul club, according to Turkish news portal Sozcu, has already initiated initial contacts with the player’s entourage and with the Giallorossi.

Besiktas management aim to close the deal as quickly as possible.

The player’s market value is around 5 million euros, a figure considered sustainable by Besiktas, who are now waiting for the green light to sit down at the table with Roma.

The operation could come to fruition in the coming days, especially if the Giallorossi are willing to negotiate on the basis of this evaluation.
