Dan N’Doye became the hero for Bologna as his second-half strike sealed a 1–0 win over AC Milan in the Coppa Italia final.
Both sides came out flying in the first half, creating a few nervy moments at each end, but neither could break the deadlock before the break.
Then, just eight minutes into the second half, the game turned.
Theo Hernandez put in a solid challenge on Orsolini, but the ball deflected perfectly into the path of N’Doye, who didn’t need a second invitation - slotting it in calmly to give Bologna the lead.
Milan, surprisingly flat, never really looked like getting back into it.
Bologna kept their cool, saw the game out, and claimed their first major honour since lifting this very trophy back in 1974.
