Gleison Bremer is ‘sorry’ to see Thiago Motta sacked by Juventus, insisting he is ‘a good coach for me who could’ve done great things,’ but has spoken to new boss Igor Tudor.
It was a transformative week for the Bianconeri, who decided to use the break for international duty to fire Thiago Motta and appoint Tudor for the rest of the current campaign.
“I am sorry for Thiago Motta, he was a good coach for me,” the Brazilian told Sky Sport Italia while attending an event for cancer research in Turin.
“He could’ve done great things, unfortunately this is the way it went, and it is sad.”

Thiago Motta was shown the door after amassing 18 victories, 16 draws and eight defeats between Serie A, the Champions League, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana at Juventus.
He was fired on Sunday to make way for Tudor, whose contract only runs to the end of the season.
“I spoke to Tudor today, I am pleased with what he said. He asked how I was, I said it was still early days, but I am here to cheer on the team and hopefully celebrate Champions League qualification with them,” continued Bremer.
The defender’s devastating knee injury, tearing the anterior cruciate ligament at the start of October, was the point where Juve’s season started to go off the rails.
“It was not a positive campaign, as we had a lot of injuries, including me and Juan Cabal. These have been difficult months, but I am progressing well now,” added Bremer.
“I’ve not had any setbacks, there’s a while still to go and I would love to play right away, but we have to wait. I might be part of the Club World Cup squad, but not to start matches.”
