The edition saw four short films produced: The Moment, The Dream, The Local and The Sound.
The films shared the stories of Raymond Harrison, Connor Wolfheimer, Claire Peleschka and Andy Godfrey respectively.
Within the Short Form Content of the Year category, Brentford’s Thousand of Stories was up against strong competition, including Tottenham Hotspur’s viral player arrival videos and Andy Murray Farewell: Wimbledon.
The award was accepted at the ceremony in Park Lane, London by creative agency Studio Something who produced the films.
The series was first launched in 2023. The first four shared stories of Brentford’s staff and included films on head coach Thomas Frank and club ambassador and announcer Peter Gilham.
Brentford’s business communications manager Nikita Rathod said: “We’re honoured to have been awarded a Broadcast Sport Award for this year’s Thousands of Stories series, especially as we were in such excellent company with the other nominees.
“We wanted to ensure that we did justice to Raymond, Connor, Claire and Andy stories as Brentford is such an important part of their lives. This couldn’t have been done without the help of Studio Something and our colleagues who brought these stories to life.”
