He wasn’t one of their top performers, but he was steadily on the rise lately and, especially, they are paper thin in the back and lost all the flexibility they had when they were whole at the beginning of the season. January isn’t too far away, but they’ll have to be quick to add, or they’ll overload their other players. Signing a left-footed center-back who can play wide too would address two needs in one swoop.
