Cardiff City Women lead the Genero Adran League Premier by five points after a thrilling 4-3 win at second-placed The New Saints.

The New Saints 3-4 Cardiff City Cardiff Met 1-1 Wrexham (Att: 154) Aberystwyth Town 0-4 Swansea City (Att: 62)

Cardiff City three times came from behind to eventually win a seven-goal thriller at The New Saints. TNS led through Chantelle Teare, a Lia Lewis penalty and Grace Dunkerley, replies coming from Fiona Barry, Mikayla Cook and Laura Curnock before Cook’s second was the winner.

Emily Thomas made a 63rd-minute breakthrough for Swansea at Aberystwyth, substitutes Chloe Chivers, Aimee Deacon and Taite Trivett added one apiece.

Wrexham drew at Cardiff Met after Brooke Cairns cancelled out the own-goal conceded by Natalie Clark.

Adran North

Llandudno 0-1 Bangor (Att: 45) Rhyl 4-0 NFA (Att: 87) Flint Town United 0-3 Connah’s Quay Nomads Felinheli P-P Llanfair United

Polly Wild-McGregor’s first-half brace set up a victory for Connah’s Quay, as they moved ten points clear at the top. Phoebe Ellis made it 3-0 before Flint’s Shona Roberts missed a penalty.

Bangor’s Ashleigh Jones got the only goal of the game at second-placed Llandudno, with nine minutes left.

Rhyl struck three times in a five-minute spell soon after NFA’s Kayla Hargreaves weas sent off, Rosie O’Brien scoring twice after Laura Williams netted from the spot. Eleanor Thomas later rounded off the scoring with another penalty in the basement battle.

Adran South

Cwmbran Celtic P-P Llanelli Town Cascade 1-3 Penybont (Att: 35)

Penybont moved level on points with Cascade after winning 3-1 away to them. Goals from Mikaela Hood and Maddie Priday had them two up, Erin Parry replied but Casey Daniels got the visitors’ third.

Hibernian Women beat leaders, Rangers and Celtic also gain ground
