Manchester United are ready to listen to offers for winger Antony and AC Milan are among the clubs to have shown an interest, according to a report.

CaughtOffside are claiming that Erik ten Hag has ‘given the green light for the €102m signing to depart United as soon as the January transfer window, given that he has failed to hit the ground running after arriving from Ajax.

They claim that ‘many top European clubs’ have shown a ‘concrete interest’ in Antony, with Milan and Juventus mentioned. Both Italian clubs have been ‘continuously monitoring his situation of late’.

It is the Rossoneri who ‘look likely to be favourites in any deal, loan or otherwise, if it comes down to a straight fight between themselves and the Bianconeri’.

That is because Milan could well end up selling Samuel Chukwueze who is attracting interest from the likes of Fulham, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Aston Villa and West Ham United in the Premier League.

Villa are in pole position to land the Nigerian because of the relationship he has with Unai Emery at Villarreal, plus the fact that they can offer Champions League football.

If they arrived with an offer that Milan deemed suitable then they would sell him, and they would then ‘definitely swoop for Antony’.
