Marco Reus is certified Borussia Dortmund royalty after a stunning 12-year spell at his boyhood club, and today we celebrate him on his 36th birthday.
The now-LA Galaxy winger spent 10 years in the Dortmund academy before moving elsewhere, and eventually making his Bundesliga debut with another Borussia, Mönchengladbach, in 2009.
Reus returned home in 2012, and quickly became one of the club's best ever players, with a remarkable 170 goals (second most in Dortmund history) and 132 assists in 429 games.
He captained the club for five years from 2018 to 2023, and played his final game for the club in a second Champions League final loss.
However, he signed off at the Westfalenstadion in fitting style, scoring a free-kick in a win over Darmstadt, and received a reception reserved only for the true greats from the home fans.
Reus made the move to the MLS last summer, signing for the Galaxy, and judging from his latest displays, he's still capable of magical moments.
What a player.
