Nick Walsh will have the whistle for a match involving Celtic for the sixth time this season, having previously taken charge of four Scottish Premiership matches, including a game against Hibs at Easter Road last August, and also the recent Scottish Cup match against Kilmarnock at Celtic Park, which Brendan Rodgers’ side won 2-1.
It’s Walsh’s fourth visit to Celtic Park this season having refereed the 2-2 draw with Aberdeen in October and last month’s 3-0 win over Dundee United.
He has had the whistle in two other Scottish Cup matches involving Celtic, a 5-0 win over St Johnstone in February 2019 and of course he was the man in the middle for Celtic’s Scottish Cup Final win over theRangers last season when Adam Idah scored that sensational 90th minute winner.

Assisting Walsh on Sunday at Celtic Park will be Frank Connor and Colin Drummond, while Kevin Clancy will be the VAR and he’ll be assisted by Andrew McWilliam.
You will note that there no sign of Alan Muir, who is one of three full time VAR officials. Alan Muir appears to have guessed that the ball was out of play in the recent match at Easter Road which denied Celtic an equaliser in the 2-1 defeat.

Willie Collum has yet to comment on this disgraceful decision which essentially meant that Muir was overturning a clear and obvious error by the match officials in awarding the goal.
