Chelsea and Manchester United considering swap deal involving Christopher Nkunku and Alejandro Garnacho | OneFootball

According to Sky Germany, Manchester United and Chelsea are considering a swap deal involving Christopher Nkunku (27) and Alejandro Garnacho (20) before the close of the January transfer window.

Both clubs have expressed an interest in the respective players and are now considering a mutually beneficial swap deal which would see the Argentine international attacker join Chelsea and the French international attacking midfielder join Manchester United.

There has been no final decision made or agreement reached between the two Premier League clubs but the idea of Garnacho and Nkunku swapping clubs has been discussed during conversations between the Blues and the Red Devils. Chelsea have set an asking price of £70m for the former PSG academy graduate and it is thought that it would be difficult for any club to match that in the winter window. However, inserting a player of similar value, like Garnacho, could see an agreement reached.
