Roma manager Claudio Ranieri discussed the upcoming match at the Dall’Ara with Bologna.
The veteran technician addressed members of the media during today’s press conference.
“I’m not worried about the future. There’s a lot of work to do and we’re doing it.”
“In January we have to find players who are up for the challenge and it’s not necessarily easy. I don’t buy any players just to get them.”
“Bologna? I am convinced that we will play a very good game. Bologna will not let us breathe. We know how they play. We’ve trained all week long and now we have to put them into practice.”
“Le Fee? He told me goodbye yesterday. I told him that I liked him, I’m sorry to see him go. He had the misfortune of having three different coaches and not much consistency in terms of minutes.”
“Now we have two options: if Sunderland don’t buy him, we will have a player who has gained experience in an intense league like the Championship, otherwise it will be a capital gain for the club.”
“I like Soulè a lot, he applies himself. He knows he has a bright future with us. I like practical players, he knows that. He touches 10 balls per game, but he needs to do something important with it. Little by little he will get there.”
“Cristante should be back in training tomorrow. He is fine, he doesn’t feel any more pain and his ankle is not swelling anymore. It’s important for us.”
“Hummels? It’s up to him if he wants to stay and continue playing.”
“Zalewski is someone I’m counting on, we’ll see if he stays or not.”
“The fans can be sure that if I make a mistake I do it to try to improve Roma. I ask for respect, because I am open and loyal. And it seems to me that the environment has understood this.”
