Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo has moved to reveal his appreciation for the talents of a current member of the midfield ranks in Spain’s capital.

The player in question? Jude Bellingham.

Youngster Bellingham is of course in the midst of another superb individual campaign to date.

After dazzling en route to La Liga Player of the Season honours in 2023/24, the England international has spent the last couple of months rediscovering his best form once more.

All told, across 30 appearances in all competitions, Bellingham has directly contributed to 20 goals.

And, amid such ongoing excellence, the former Borussia Dortmund man has reminded the aforementioned Cristiano Ronaldo of another iconic figure at the Santiago Bernabéu,

Speaking in an interview with El Chirnguito TV (as cited by Foot Mercato) this week, CR7 was asked for his take on Bellingham’s talents.

And the Portuguese veteran went on to explain:

“I really like Jude Bellingham. He reminds me of Zidane. He is still very young and has his whole future ahead of him. He will bring a lot to Real Madrid.”
