Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest – Predicted lineup and team news

Crystal Palace host Nottingham Forest at Selhurst Park in the Premier League tonight.
The Eagles enter the contest in buoyant mood, after thrashing Aston Villa 3-0 to reach the FA Cup final last weekend. Oliver Glasner’s side are one win from a maiden major trophy and place in a major European competition for the first time.
Forest are also chasing continental qualification as the season’s surprise package. Sixth in the table ahead of tonight’s clash, a win will lift Nuno Espirito Santo’s side level on points with Newcastle and Chelsea in the Champions League places. However, Forest have lost four of their last five in all competitions in an alarming slump.
Olivier Glasner has just two concerns ahead of the game with Cheick Doucoure and Chadi Riad long-term absentees. The duo will not play again this season due to knee issues.
Tyrick Mitchell picked up a knock during the FA Cup win over Aston Villa but has recovered in time to feature tonight. On-loan goalkeeper Matt Turner can not face his parent club, but would not have started ahead of Dean Henderson regardless. Henderson previously spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Forest from former club Manchester United.
Jean-Philippe Mateta needs just one more goal to reach 15 in the Premier League for the second straight season. He has now scored 38 goals in the Premier League for Palace, with only Wilfried Zaha (68) having netted more.
Crystal Palace host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Monday 5th May 2025. Kick-off at Selhurst Park is 20:00 BST.
