Ahead of tonight’s clash between AC Milan and Fiorentina, Emerson Royal briefly spoke to the media and shared his thoughts on what is needed from the Rossoneri. After three consecutive league wins, they will be looking to make it four.

Milan may have lost their encounter with Bayer Leverkusen, but the confidence is still high following a good run in the league. Tonight, they can make it four consecutive wins but it won’t be easy against Fiorentina, especially since it’s played away from home.

Speaking to DAZN ahead of the game, as cited by MilanNews, Emerson Royal admitted that Milan are in a very good moment and need to make the most of it…

“The start wasn’t as we wanted, but we worked hard, we had meetings every day. I think we are in a good moment, we are working as a team. Today is important, by winning we can stay high in the standings,” he stated.

Emerson Royal has certainly improved in the last few weeks after some very tough games with the red and black shirt. While ghe’s not been brilliant by any means, the last few performances have been more ‘solid’ and this is obviously important for Milan.
