100% focus on domestic objectives

Our last 11 remaining league games and a possible three further games in the Scottish Cup, will all be crucial battles in our bid to record yet another domestic treble.

That means selecting our strongest XI every single game barring injury of course. With the burden of playing (Tuesday/Wednesday – Saturday/Sunday) now free from the minds and legs of the players after tonight , it will only make us all that stronger and focused in our purist of our domestic objectives.

Champions League was a great experience this season

Playing at the highest level in European football was fantastic and a great experience for both the players and the supporters. It’s a level we want to return to next season and possibly go even further, but there’s no doubt that the demands of playing at such a high level took it’s toll both physically and mentally on the players.

Celtic usually finish the season strongly

They’ve got to use that extra energy and experience gained to their advantage in the remaining games. I’m more than confident that they will, as Celtic, under the guidance of Brendan Rodgers, always seem to rise to the occasion when the pressure is on and finish the season strongly. Celtic thrives on it, and this time will be no different, starting tonight against Aberdeen under the lights at Paradise.
