Fabio Paratici and Massimiliano Allegri recently had dinner to get past previous disagreements and probably touch on a future spell at Milan together. The two buried the hatchet since the exec had the coach fired a few years back, Calciomercato relays.

Things aren’t yet too advanced with the Rossoneri. The team will go in order and is taking its time. The official will finish serving his suspension on June 30th. He’d be able to operate without any restriction in the summer. However, he might face trial for the ‘plusvalenze’ case in the ordinary justice, which gives the club pause.

Paratici and Allegri have yet to meet with Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani, who will ultimately make the decisions. Instead, the former Juventus exec touched base with the owner Gerry Cardinale and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in London. The Rossoneri’s apical official recently had a phone call with the former Juventus boss with the intercession of a mutual friend, La Gazzetta dello Sport relays.

They didn’t talk shop but started to get to know each other. The boss is ready to return on a bench, preferably in Europe and especially in Serie A. Going to Saudi Arabia is a fallback. He likes the squad. April will be the key month for the hirings.

Our Take on Milan, Allegri, and Paratici

The quality of the work by the pair in Turin is in the eye of the beholder, as it was successful for a few years but also ended very poorly. They’d be two cumbersome figures who may not mesh well with their current higher-ups. The latter would have to get out of the way to avoid confusion and in-fighting, which wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing.
