Inter Milan will face Hellas Verona in Serie A this evening.

It is certainly an important match in the Nerazzurri’s title defense. They are still within three points of Napoli, and hoping that the league leaders will stumble and allow them to catch up.

Therefore, Inter need three points against the Gialloblu this evening.

However, there is no ignoring the two huge matches on either side of today’s match.

On Wednesday, Inter played out a thrilling 3-3 draw away to Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League semifinals.

And on Wednesday, the Nerazzurri play the all-important second leg.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will undoubtedly have one eye on the second leg against Barcelona.

Therefore, Inzaghi is planning to rotate his squad significantly.

As such, reports Tuttosport, the Inter coach will make wholesale changes in attack.

Firstly, Joaquin Correa will start. The Argentine is not even in Inter’s Champions League squad, therefore he will be used to give the other strikers a chance to rest this evening.

Correa had also started in the reverse fixture. He played a starring role in a 5-0 win away to Verona in November.

Then, Lautaro Martinez is out with injury.

The Nerazzurri captain suffered a muscle problem in the first leg against Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Mehdi Taremi came off the bench to replace Martinez in the second half against Barcelona.

However, it will not be the Iranian who starts against Verona today.
