And exclusive report has today named three strikers that Chelsea are now currently weighing up signing despite the form of Nicolas Jackson.

The Blues striker has really hit the ground running this season and his improvements in a Chelsea shirt have been getting better and better as the time has gone on. He had a very good second part of last season as well. And now this season he is playing better still and scoring and assisting goals.

Some Chelsea fans had some reservations about Jackson for some time. However, many of them are now losing those reservations the more they watch him shine up top.

So why are Chelsea now being linked with more new strikers?

Well, you’d imagine it is simply now going to be for top quality competition all over the park. Yes, Chelsea have Christopher Nkunku competing with Jackson right now, but Nkunku is not really a 9 and is more of a 10. And Marc Guiu just looks far too raw for now to be able to be real competition to Jackson.

Osimhen in action for Galatasaray

In an exclusive report put out today, TBR Football are reporting that Chelsea retain an interest in Victor Osimhen and are regularly checking on the Galatasaray striker.

They also say that Chelsea remain pleased with Nicolas Jackson’s progression but would like to add a player of Osimhen’s quality alongside.

But the Nigerian is not the only player of interest with Chelsea also monitoring Benjamin Sesko and Alexander Isak ahead of next summer.

I think this makes total sense. If Chelsea can add another top striker to the ranks to directly compete with Jackson then it is only going to make them even better and elevate them even more. After all, they now have top competition all over the rest of the positions on the pitch.
