Como coach Cesc Fabregas reportedly met Carlo Ancelotti in Madrid on Thursday to learn Real Madrid’s plans for Nico Paz and to hear about the availability of three Merengues academy products.
Spanish newspaper ABC reports Como coach Fabregas travelled to Madrid on Thursday, meeting Carlo Ancelotti, his son and assistant Davide and Real Madrid’s Academy director Manu Fernández at Valdebebas.
The main talking point was the future of Nico Paz, a product of the Real Madrid academy who joined Como on a permanent transfer last summer.

The Argentinean talent is among the top 10 Serie A performers this season and Real Madrid have kept scouting him this season as they have an option to re-buy him in 2025, 2026 or 2027.
It is no secret that Inter are interested in Nico Paz, but according to the report, neither Como nor Real Madrid are willing to sell him to the Nerazzurri. According to the report, Fabregas asked Ancelotti to keep Paz in Como for a further campaign.
As of today, Ancelotti believes that Paz’s Como stay until 2026 would be positive for both the player and the clubs.
Furthermore, Fabregas has reportedly sounded out Real Madrid’s Castilla top scorer Gonzalo, central defender Jacobo Ramón and central midfielder Chema Andrés.
