To say Manchester United are in panic mode following last night’s dismal Europa League final loss to Tottenham Hotspur is an understatement.

With no European football to offer potential signings and a healthy cash injection missed out on by sustaining defeat, the Red Devils will enter the summer transfer window with a mammoth task at hand.

The squad needs gutting from head to toe in order to assemble something of a competent starting XI capable of stringing more than a few passes together and actually creating something in attack. Then, once he’s been granted his desired players to fit the puzzle, all eyes will be on Ruben Amorim to succeed.

United’s squad all available for sale if the price is right this summer

In regards to outgoings, the club will lose Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof free of charge when their contracts expire next month. Tom Heaton is also in the final weeks of his deal but is expected to sign a one-year extension, having impressed the coaching staff with his influence on the team.

According to a fresh report from The Mirror, no player is considered off-limits this summer – even Bruno Fernandes, who boldly put forward the prospect of him being sold to raise funds in the aftermath of Thursday’s despair.

Buyers needed ASAP for on-loan forwards

The outlet adds that INEOS are ‘desperate to offload’ on-loan Reds Antony (Real Betis), Jadon Sancho (Chelsea), and Marcus Rashford (Aston Villa).

United forked out a ludicrous £73 million and £86m to sign Sancho and Antony in 2021 and 2022 respectively, and they’ll recuperate nowhere near such fees when sanctioning their exits.

Rashford is an academy graduate, meaning his sale would massively boost the club’s Profit and Sustainability predicament. Villa have the option of making his transfer permanent for £40m at the end of the season, although it’s thought the forward is adamant about plying his trade abroad.
