A Chelsea insider has said that after speaking to his sources this weekend, he’s learned Chelsea are now very serious about one player.
The news comes after Chelsea played out a boring 0-0 draw against Brentford in the Premier League yesterday afternoon in what was another underwhelming performance.
Enzo Maresca frustrated Chelsea fans once again with a heavily rotated starting lineup in such an important game in the race for Champions League qualification, and then he annoyed them even more with some of the excuses he came out with after the game, even blaming the weather!
The Blues boss was also frustrated though, pointing out the fact that his attackers are currently not doing enough and has called for more goals from them all.
Maresca and his players must keep going now and onto the next game later this week in the Conference League as they look to try and win some silverware this season.
Attentions will then turn to the summer transfer market and Chelsea will be looking at a number of positions to strengthen yet again.

Chelsea are on the hunt for a new striker this summer, and our own Blues insider Simon Phillips has put out a sourced article on some situations via his Substack site.
Phillips has been speaking about Benjamins Sesko of RB Leipzig, with him being on the radar for The Blues this summer.
Phillips says:
‘From speaking to sources again over the weekend, it appears that Benjamin Sesko is certainly a very serious option for Chelsea as well and I’d not be surprised to see him arrive as our new striker in the summer. Sesko is also high on the list because he has a release clause.’
