After their European heartbreak, Lazio will be eager to finish their Serie A campaign on a high note, and their final gauntlet begins with an away fixture in Genoa.
The Serie A clash between Genoa and Lazio kicks off at 18:00 local time on Monday, April 21st at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Liguria.

The Rossoblu started their campaign on a slow note under Alberto Gilardino, but they have certainly made large improvements since the arrival of Patrick Vieira who led them out of the danger zone. The Ligurians currently sit in a comfortable 12th place in the league, and they’re only one point away from the all-important 40-point threshold.
In their most recent outing, Genoa shared the spoils with Hellas Verona in a goalless draw away from home, and they had beaten Udinese at home a week earlier. Vieira’s men are currently playing with little pressure on their shoulders, which arguably renders them more dangerous.
Lazio will have little time to lick their wounds after their dramatic elimination from the Europa League. Moreover, playing 120 gruelling minutes on Thursday will surely take its toll on the already-exhausted Biancocelesti.
This contest left them with new injury woes, as Nuno Tavares suffered a new relapse, while Taty Castellanos and Adam Marusic are doubtful for Monday’s match. Since beating Milan last month, Marco Baroni’s men have only earned one victory in their last five Serie A fixtures, toppling Atalanta in Bergamo thanks to Gustav Isaksen’s goal.
This run also included disappointing draws against Udinese and Torino, a vicious beatdown at the hands of Bologna, and most recently, a 1-1 draw against arch-rivals Roma. Lazio currently sit sixth in the Serie A table, just three points adrift of the Top Four spots.
Genoa (4-2-3-1): Leali; Sabelli, De Winter, Vasquez, Martin; Masini, Frendrup; Zanoli, Thorsby, Miretti; Pinamonti.
Lazio (4-2-3-1): Mandas; Marusic, Gigot, Gila, Pellegrini; Guendouzi, Rovella; Tchaouna, Dia, Zaccagni; Castellanos
