FC Barcelona will look to sign off on their La Liga-winning campaign on a high when they take on Athletic Club this weekend in their final game of the season.
Having been crowned champions of Spain last week after defeating RCD Espanyol in the derby, Barça fumbled to a home defeat to Villarreal in their last match at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
Hansi Flick & co. will now aim to end the season on a winning note by securing all three points against Ernesto Valverde’s men at San Mames on Sunday night.
Ahead of the trip to Basque country at the weekend, Hansi Flick decided to call up two new faces to senior training reports Mundo Deportivo.
Indeed, the German tactician called up youth players Juan Hernandez and Pedro Fernandez to join the first-team training session today at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
Juan Hernandez, a 17-year-old attacking midfielder, played a key role in Barça Juvenil A’s treble success under Juliano Belletti this season while also getting some minutes with Barça Atletic.

Like Juan, Pedro Hernandez is also a 17-year-old attacking midfield talent who had a hand in Barcelona Juvenil A’s success this season.
The two academy players took part in training at the Ciutat Esportiva, helping the squad finalise tactical details ahead of the trip to Bilbao.
It remains to be seen whether either will be included in the matchday squad.
Meanwhile, Ronald Araujo trained at full pace with the group but wore a heavy bandage on his right knee.
The Uruguayan missed the previous match against Villarreal due to discomfort in that area, though his condition now appears to be improving.
Absent from training were injured players Jules Kounde, Ferran Torres, and Marc Bernal, all of whom are ruled out for the trip to San Mames.
