“Sometimes we talk with one player, and sometimes with the whole team. It depends on what our goal is. I also like that now the players have the confidence to come and talk to us.”

Flick also revealed one particular aspect of the team that pleased him the most:

“What impresses and pleases me the most is the connection all these players have. They have a very good bond and a great atmosphere among them, and that’s really what I love. Also, their mentality. They love playing football.”

In addition to this chemistry, the Barcelona coach was also impressed by the team’s competitive spirit:

“They love competing with each other, and that’s great. Their whole life is a competition. It’s part of being a footballer, and I like seeing that. They also need to bring their quality to the team, and that’s what helps us win matches.”
