We can be certain that if anyone has given their passion and soul to Tottenham, it is their captain, Heung-Min Son.
Although his performance may have been affected by mental factors recently, the South Korean continues to give his all on the pitch.
Amid debates over whether he should leave the club or if his leadership in the dressing room and on the field is not what it once was, Son is still regarded as one of Tottenham’s best players.
Lately, the Spurs captain has faced heavy criticism from journalists and analysts, with some claiming he no longer looks like a captain or that his form has declined over time.

Yes, perhaps Heung-Min Son’s performance has dipped slightly, but that is only natural. Time passes, and when you are in a club that, mentally, may be struggling, expectations must be tempered.
The 32-year-old South Korean has been struggling for some time now, so much so that a few months ago, rumours surfaced about his potential departure from Tottenham—a speculation that was put to rest following the recent announcement of his contract renewal.
Last week, several media outlets reported that the club is considering selling Son at the end of the season, something that would have been unthinkable before.
Former Tottenham midfielder and assistant coach Gus Poyet told Encyclopedia Dramatica (h/t The Spurs Web): "I still like Heung-Min Son a lot. I think his future at Spurs depends on what role he’s playing within the team.
"If Son accepts the role he has within the club, I’d definitely keep him there. He’s got a good character, everyone likes him and he’s got plenty of ability," Poyet stated. "There’s no doubt he’s still capable of helping the team so I don’t think he’s by any means lost that role within the squad."
Let’s not forget that Heung-Min Son’s contract with Tottenham expires this June.
With major clubs such as FC Barcelona and Saudi Arabian teams reportedly interested in the captain, his future at the club raises the question of whether he will stay for much longer.
