How Leicester City can stop Marmoush may be key

There are only nine matches remaining for Leicester. Unfortunately for them, the final stretch of fixtures is far from inviting to earn points. As is, the Foxes will need to make up a nine-point gap between them and Wolves. Unless the Great Escape Part II happens, there are fewer than 10 games left in the Premier League for now.
Their Wednesday opponent, Manchester City, recently suffered a significant setback. Pep Guardiola will be without world-class striker Erling Haaland. As LCFC supporters will know, however, that alone will not offer too much room for optimism.
The defensive and midfield units under Ruud van Nistelrooy have allowed too many and too easy chances against other EPL sides. While RvN will now have the luxury of not needing to prepare for the Norwegian forward, the Man City group of players still boasts an attack that can cause a lot of issues for the Etihad visitors.
Prem newcomer Omar Marmoush will now need to be at the forefront of the East Midlands side. His versatility and skill can cause issues for a backline that has often fallen asleep and given up a number of great scoring opportunities for their opposition.
Between him and the service that Kevin de Bruyne can provide when he's on, Mads Hermansen could yet again be faced with an impossible task in net. The likes of Wout Faes and Jannik Vestergaard will not be able to have moments of low effort or half clearances against Man City. Regardless of whom van Nistelrooy ends up picking in his (probable) back five, they will be tested by the Egyptian.
Against a team that will look to get on the right track for what has been mostly a down year for them, the Foxes can feel fortunate in not needing to face Haaland. Pep Guardiola's second, third, and fourth options, including Marmoush, provide plenty of quality for RvN's men to worry about.
