Inter Milan & Iran Star Striker Recovers From Niggling Groin Injury, Could Take Argentina Talisman’s Place Vs Udinese

Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi has recovered from a minor groin injury and will feature for Iran during March’s international break.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the 32-year-old must be cautious, given ‘this type of injury tends to resurface.’
It’s not been the season Mehdi Taremi had expected when he agreed to join Inter from Porto on a Bosman deal last summer.
Unfamiliar with Serie A, he has only netted once in 21 league appearances.
However, it’s worth noting he has been playing second fiddle to Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.

Taremi joined the Iran squad earlier this week for March’s fixtures against the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan.
Yet, he was an unused substitute in a 2-0 win against the former yesterday due to a minor groin issue.
But he’s back to full fitness and should regain his place in the starting XI against Uzbekistan next week.
More importantly, Simone Inzaghi will have him at his disposal for a must-win home game against Udinese.
