Inter Milan are planning a move for Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund this summer, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Danish forward joined United in 2023 after a standout season in Serie A with Atalanta. However, he has found it hard to settle into life in English football.
Hojlund has scored just four goals in the Premier League this season. United fans and pundits have openly questioned whether he is the right fit to lead the club’s attack.
Despite flashes of promise, he has struggled to make a lasting impact in Ruben Amorim’s system this season.
His movement, positioning and finishing have often lacked the consistency needed at the top level.
Inter are having a strong season both domestically, sitting just one point behind league leaders Napoli with only one game remaining.
They have also reached the Champions League final and could finish the season with two major titles.
Despite this, the squad has shown some weaknesses, especially when Lautaro Martinez is unavailable. The team’s attack loses its cutting edge when he is absent.
Inter are actively looking to sign another centre forward who can offer depth and quality.
Hojlund is among the players being considered, and the club believe he can grow into a more complete striker.
His previous experience in Italy is considered a significant advantage as he would not need time to adapt.
Juventus and Napoli have also shown interest in the 22-year-old, and United could be open to offers this summer.
Hojlund’s future is uncertain, but the summer transfer window could bring a fresh start for him in Italy.
