Ipswich Town head to Nottingham Forest tonight aiming to reach the FA Cup quarter-finals.
The final tie of the fifth round will see The Tractor Boys take on high-flying Forest at the City Ground. Brighton await the winners of tonight’s tie in the last eight.
Kieran McKenna will hope a return to cup competition and distract his side from their tough Premier League form. Ipswich have failed to win a league game in 2025, though have beaten Bristol Rovers and Coventry City to reach this stage of the FA Cup.
In contrast, Forest are having a remarkable campaign. Considered among the favourites for relegation last summer, Nuno Espirito Santo has led The Tricky Trees into the Champions League places.
Kieran McKenna must deal with a number of absentees for tonight’s tie. Julio Enciso is cup-tied, though would have missed out due to a knee issue regardless.
Omari Hutchinson is also out with a knee problem and joins Kalvin Phillips, Chiedozie Ogbene, Wes Burns and Christian Walton in the treatment room.
There’s better news on Conor Chaplin, who is in contention to feature. Arijanet Muric could also return to the squad after a shoulder issue.
Ipswich predicted XI: Palmer; Johnson, O’Shea, Woolfenden, Davis; Cajuste, Morsy; Philogene, Szmodics, Clarke; Delap
