Juventus are waiting to hear back from Newcastle United about the payment terms they have put on the table for defender Lloyd Kelly.
The Italian outfit have a defender on their agenda and Newcastle’s Kelly is the player they are trying to push over the line.
Newcastle rejected a bid from Fenerbahce early in the window for Kelly and Juventus also failed with their initial proposal.
After failing to agree on a deal for Kevin Danso, Juventus have returned to the hunt for Kelly again.
It has been suggested that the Serie A giants have agreed to a verbal agreement with Newcastle to sign Kelly on loan with a €3m loan fee with the obligation to buy on certain conditions.
The obligation conditions will be simple, but there are bonuses that could be triggered which will be more difficult.
The payment terms need to be finalised and, according to Sky Italia, Juventus are waiting to hear back from Newcastle on the terms they have proposed.
Newcastle have agreed to an obligation clause for €13m to €14m, but Juventus need to book in a medical and arrange for Kelly’s visa, meaning they need to hear back from the Magpies soon.
