Reports on Monday morning confirm that Juventus will punish Pierre Kalulu in the form of a fine after his costly red card during the team’s eventual 1-1 draw with Lazio on Saturday, which could swing the race for the Champions League positions in Serie A.
Juventus were held to a 1-1 draw away against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico over the weekend. The two sides had been level on points ahead of kick-off, also level on points with Roma and one above Bologna, with all four of those sides fighting for one final position in the top four.
The Bianconeri had led through Randal Kolo Muani in the 51st minute, but an unnecessary red card from Kalulu for violent conduct on the hour mark changed the momentum, and Lazio eventually came up with the equaliser in the 96th minute.

Kalulu is the second Juventus player in three matches to be sent off for violent conduct, after Kenan Yildiz was given a two-game band for his red card during the recent 2-0 win over Monza.
Kalulu is also expected to be handed a two-game ban, which means that his Serie A season is now over. He will be back with the team for the FIFA Club World Cup kicking off in mid-June.
Reports from various outlets including La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Juventus will also give Kalulu a fine of around €50,000-€60,000 for his actions during the 1-1 draw against Lazio.
