Harry Kane has won his race against time to be named in the starting XI as Vincent Kompany's side head to Villa Park this evening.
The Englishman, who went off injured in the final stages of his side's 1-1 draw at the weekend, is named in the starting XI for a return to England.
Elsewhere, Kompany has opted for Konrad Laimer in central midfield, while it is an attacking side featuring all of Michael Olise, Leroyu Sané and Kingsley Coman.
Meanwhile, Unai Emery is without captain John McGinn with a hamstring injury, and has opted for Jadon Philogene in place of Leon Bailey in the only change from the weekend draw with Ipswich Town.
The game will be the first ever Champions League game at Villa Park, giving the hosts even greater motivation to come away with all three points.
Aston Villa XI: Martinez, Konsa, Carlos, Torres, Digne, Tielemans, Onana, Philogene, Ramsey, Rogers, Watkins
Bayern Munich XI: Neuer, Kimmich, Kim Min Jae, Upamecano, Davies, Pavlovic, Laimer, Sané, Coman, Olise, Kane
