Kayky set for Bahia loan | OneFootball

Kayky has joined Brazilian side Bahia on loan until June 2025.

The winger spent the first half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Eredivisie side Sparta Rotterdam, featuring seven times in all competitions.

Kayky joined City in April 2021 from Fluminense in his native Brazil, helping our Elite Development Squad claim the Premier League 2 title the following season.

Featuring 13 times for Brian Barry-Murphy's side, he would contribute six goals and four assists to our PL2 title charge.

He also made his senior debut for the Club that campaign, coming on as a late substitute in our FA Cup third round win over Swindon, before a further cameo against Norwich City in the Premier League.

Loans spells at Portuguese side Pacos Ferreira and Bahia would follow across 2022/23, but the youngster would sustain a serious injury in July 2023.

He recovered ahead of the current campaign and gained further experience in Rotterdam, but will now return to his native Brazil for a second stint at City Football Group sister club, Bahia.
