Milan are now down to the final details of negotiations with Manchester City for England international Kyle Walker, who is on the verge of joining the Rossoneri on loan with an option to buy according to Sunday’s reports.
Earlier this month, Pep Guardiola confirmed that Walker had requested a move away from the Etihad in order to experience an opportunity abroad before he calls it time on his playing career.
The 34-year-old is under contract with the Citizens until the summer of 2026, but City are reportedly willing to let him leave for a minimal fee as a gesture of goodwill after seven-and-a-half years of service and six Premier League titles.

Walker is expected to join Milan on an initial loan deal at a cost of €1m for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign, and the Rossoneri will also have the option to make the move permanent for a further €5m in the summer.
According to updates from transfer experts Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano, Milan and Manchester City are expected to finalise the transfer within the next 24 hours.
Walker himself has already given his approval to the move, despite interest from a number of clubs across Europe and in Saudi Arabia.
